Amazing location steps from the gondola
We had a great stay! The penthouse was spacious and well furnished. Its location in the village made access to the mountain very easy along with entertainment and dining options. All communication from the host was clear and helpful. This property is highly recommended!

Great but a major issue in the bathroom
The property was nice however we had 2 significant issues; (1) There was a leak from the primary bathroom light/fan emitting a toxic smelling liquid constantly. Maintenance could not fix during our stay so the bathroom was not operational and with 9 guests, this was an issue. (2) the refrigerator/freezer was broken so 2 small refrigerators were provided.

Family wedding weekend.
This rental property is well located in River Run. It was well stocked, clean and perfect for our family. There is a lot of construction across the street so be prepared for 7 am wake-ups every day except for Sunday. Unfortunately, there was an issue in Arapahoe Lodge during our entire stay. The entire building smelled horribly (like sewage). We had several bathrooms in our unit that smelled throughout our stay. The management company didn't respond to our questions about the smell until I called again after we checked out. I still haven't received a response to my request for a refund of some sort.

Overall a great place
Rating Details: The property manager was more than helpful. The vacation rental was spotless. I was very happy with the location. I was more than satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: The place itself was beautiful and I’m immaculate condition. It is very large and was able to accommodate our group of parents and toddlers. There were three bathrooms which was a huge plus. The downside la for us were the later check in of 5pm as we were there for a wedding and had evening festivities we needed to get ready for. We were able to request and earlier check in however did not receive one. The other two issues were of safety concern for us traveling with toddlers. There were no screens on the bedroom windows and the upstairs top bunk of the bunk beds had no railing. With older kids it’s not as big of an issues but with the little ones we couldn’t allow them to sleep up there. The staircase to get up to the top bunk was not super stable as well. All in all this was beautiful place able to accommodate a good amount of people very comfortably. We would absolutely stay here again.

Summer Vacation in Keystone
Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was very clean. I was very happy with the location. I was somewhat dissatisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: This is a nice property for families in a great location. We had four adults and five kids that fit comfortably during a four night stay. Unfortunately, we ran into a few issues that impacted the quality of the stay: the lobby smelled like sewage; the hot tub was under maintenance for four(!) days; the washer/dryer motor was burning out and stunk up the rental; the fridge/freezer was not working and we had to throw away a significant amount of groceries. The rental company was very professional and brought us a mini-fridge after we reported the situation. Some of this may be out of the control of the renters, but it is not something I would expect for a property that charges $600/night.

The kitchen was thoughtfully designed and well stocked for cooking for a crowd. This was the best rental property we have experienced in terms of cleanliness, space, design, and quality. We particularly enjoyed the eclectic artwork which was quite the conversation starter. The location could not be beat and our group hopes to return soon! If we were forced to register any complaints, it would be that it would have been helpful to have a humidifier in every bedroom.

Nice location - ditch the property management company
The location is great, the condo is spacious and comfortable, but the management company is less than ideal. They weren't great to work with the condo didn't appear to be that well taken care of was pretty dirty upon check in. The floors weren't very clean, the place looked like it hadn't been dusted in a year and there were food on some of the kitchen walls along with not so clean bathrooms. It looks like they just clean the main surfaces and thats about it. If you want an early check in or need to speak with the management company, have fun with that. Nobody really seems to care much about you or your needs and would just rather not be bothered. This was my experience before I even checked in.

The only drawback was the village was using a loud truck too early in the morning right below us. Woke us up. It was not part of the construction. Not homeowners fault.

No Heat for the first 24 hours of our stay and no compensation offered
I do not recommend renting from Summit County Mountain Retreats in Keystone, CO. We inquired about early check-in and were told it would be 15 per hour. I am glad we did not make it to check in early because there was no heat in our condo for the first 24 hours. It was December 6, and it was absolutely freezing inside the unit. We had gloves, ski jackets and hats on inside and were still freezing. Summit County Mountain Retreats were very responsive and apologetic and sent space heaters for use, but with 2 fireplaces and 4 space heaters running (and tripping breakers) it still was not warm enough with the 2 story ceilings. We had an expectant mother and a senior citizen in our group. I constantly asked when the heat would be fixed and asked if I would be compensated for one night. I was told that “management would be able to discuss compensation after check out in case anything else may occur.” I asked to be moved and they let me know if the lack of heat persisted into Saturday the would try their best to get us moved. I messaged them again Saturday morning, still no heat. I was told they will keep us updated and the HOA should have it fixed some point during the day. At 4:47pm we got back from skiing and the radiators still had no heat blowing into the unit. They sent out maintenance who said that the radiators were working properly. It finally started warming up that evening. We received a message Monday morning that they would be shutting off the heat and hot water for 3

Great Location / Space, Bad Customer Service

Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: This condo is great for large groups and is located less than 2 min walk to the Gondola and River Run! I have nothing bad to say about the unit itself (other than that the TV is IMPOSSIBE to get working), but was not impressed with the customer service... the fire places went out the night we we got there (on a 7 night stay) and I was trying to get someone out to fix them and never did. The hot tub in the building was broken. You only get 1 parking space in the unit otherwise you have find overnight parking in other random lots in the resort and pay $25/ night. We ended up having to do that and paid all 7 nights we were there and parked in front of a sign that said "pay here for overnight parking" yet we got THREE $120 parking tickets even though we followed the office's instructions on how to park. Tried calling Summit County rentals to see if there was anything they could do and they could have cared less. After spending the amount we did there after a week, you'd think the customer service would be TOP NOTCH but it wasn't sadly.

Unfortunately, our stay coincided with construction to repair the street below - early morning noise from jack hammer and heavy equipment starting at 5a. Management was friendly and helpful. Directions and access instructions could be better.

The one in the far back with it's own bathroom next to other bath is the worst. My Sister and Brother in law ended up sleeping on floor since it was so bad, but other than that the place was great.. Just some new beds, and the dining room chairs are very loose

We loved that everything was centrally located and we could walk to many shops and restaurants. The check in and check out process was very easy. The pools and hot tubs were great for relaxation and the balconies at the condo provided good views of the mountains and River Run village.
