This cabin is excellent all the way around! Everything is clean & just as described & pictured - or better - and Nate & his wife are gracious hosts! We throughly enjoyed our stay while visiting the Sawtooth Mountains & Stanley area. This location is perfect for visiting Stanley. We enjoyed being near the town, but having a very quiet & peaceful porch, beautiful view & stream to enjoy each evening. The upper deck is great for breakfast, lower porch is perfect for the afternoon to block the sun, and then move back upstairs to the upper deck for the sunset! Nice chairs & outdoor dining tables on both levels. Bathrooms were well stocked with towels & toiletries. Kitchen was also well stocked with a good selection of plates, bowls, utensils, cookware, & spices. Might suggest a few more glasses. Plenty of coffee cups :) and also a great selection of Keurig Starbucks K-cup pods were provided! Most of the light switches are labeled which is a nice touch for guests and the owner has also provided several binders with probably everything you might need to know about the cabin, appliances, emergency services (never thought of that but a really great idea to have that provided) as well as a binder with local maps of hiking & other activity info. (We hiked to Alpine Lake while there in mid-July - perfect moderate trail to a beautiful lake!) Great selection of dvd's & board games - and the arcade machine is so fun! All the furnishings are very comfy and nice - the cabin is cozy - but there is plenty of room! Laundry room is perfect for travelers - detergents provided & again - everything is labeled. Although we didn't need the extra beds, we found that on the upper floor loft area there is also a double over double size bunk bed - great for kiddos! There is a friendly little restaurant/ice cream counter/gas station just at the bottom of the neighborhood - the food we had there was very good - get it to go & enjoy dinner on the back deck of the cabin! The neighborhood was super quiet & we never noticed any of the neighbors. One night we stayed up & viewed the stars from the back deck! Saw a couple of mule deer passing by the cabin early one morning too. We didn't have cell service (Verizon) at the cabin or in the Smiley Creek area, but were able to send texts/emails using the cabin Wifi. When planning this trip I looked at probably every cabin available in the Stanley area, & after visiting I can safely say you will not go wrong with this choice!
