"The accommodation was great, far better than expected (and we did our homework looking at reviews prior). The restaurant and bar were expensive and it would have been great to see a local ale or 2 on tap. That said, the resort is a short walk from town. And that walk is part of the experience of mission beach. "

"When we arrived we were shown to an awful room at the back of the hotel, it looked like the safety latch had been smashed off. It had no cooking facilities. We requested an upgrade and paid an extra 50 dollars. We moved into this room which was much better, unpacked then noticed a big hole beside the door… we then moved again, just to next door. "I have stayed at the Elandra twice, since its re-opening 12 months ago. Both times I enjoyed and left relaxed. I was a little confused though when we went to dine for tea, there were children on the premises. Advertisement say adults only resort. I do not have any issue with this as I would love to bring my family next time."

"Beautiful pool. We were out looking for swim holes but forgot it was summer. The sunset swim in the heated pool was a beautiful reward. The kitchen amenities are so helpful too for a motel!! Love our stay here!"
