「Stayed one night in triple room on road trip around Dumfries & Galloway. Room clean and comfortable with a microwave and fridge a bonus. Only negative was lack of electric sockets, although this was not really problematic. Staff extremely helpful and friendly and with a good cooked breakfast. Parking was also easy. Would stay again.」

「Good comfortable stay Maybe needs some attention to detail. Bathroom window clearly damp and badly marked/ dirty. Needed cleaned.No hand soap to wash hands in bathroom.Had a room with 2 double beds but only 1 hot chocolate.Excellent breakfast but had to make on toast as informed chef was busy ! and missing promised portion of beans in full English.Also repair work to roof just outside our room which started before 9am. Bit noisy. 」

「water leaking all over the place had to slam the door two or three times to close would not let a dog stay in there. cheaked out within the hour found another hotel.fire exit was jamed shut sould not be open.」

「Made the most of a wet day 」

「We booked this B&B pretty much last minute without checking the reviews but it wouldn't have put us off as everyone and their expectations are different. Our room was pretty big that a kingsize bed would have easily fit in. The bed was comfortable. After a few hours, we realised how thin the walls were as we could hear other guests in their rooms as though they were in ours with us. The B&B next door uses the breakfast facilities of the Caledonian so there was a lot of noise coming in from...
