「They have created an amazing space. The location is secluded, far away from the noise of cities. It was by far the most relaxing vacation stay. The owners were friendly and respectful of our privacy. You cannot stay there without noticing the respect, understanding and kindness they have for the land and animals. 」

「Dawn has a lovely property within reasonable driving distance to Hilo, Volcano National Park, and beaches. If you read the description of the property and the reviews, you will not be surprised. 「I can’t even begin to tell you how spiritual, restful and wonderful it was staying at the Enchanted Rainforest Hideaway! Connie and Andrew were the best hosts ever! The Hideaway is absolutely beautiful, well stocked and private!! Connie met me upon arrival and reviewed everything with me. It is the most restful place I have ever stayed in on a trip. The coqui frogs are very soothing to listen to as you fall into your slumber every night. There is a little black cat, that I think lives next...

The home had everything we needed and the owner was quick to reply. We’d love to stay here again and recommend it for anyone wishing to stay close to the park. 」

「It’s in an unpaved road it looks really runs down like they made huts/rooms on a piece of land the pools looks unsanitary when I first looked at the picture for an entire unit it looked like I was getting everything in one house all connected but it’s not this place is like a community use and very private at all」

「We loved the modern cabin and its amenities. Convenient location only 3 miles from Volcano National Park. Not as secluded as you might think - which could be good or bad depending on what you’re looking for… Neighbors were noisy at times and you can hear highway traffic. But you also hear frogs and birds! We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and would recommend and would book again! 」

「Wonderful stay in the jungle Fern forest, gravel road to the rental is in great shape, any vehicle would be fine. Exactly as described and pictured, nothing more or less, for the price it's 10/10; easy late arrival access with gate key code and cabin door code ; soothing coqui frogs all night after the neighborhood dogs settle in. somewhat thin walls with neighboring cabin, maybe bring earplugs」

「The place was beautiful and so clean! It was small, but seemed spacious enough and was nice and private. It also had everything you’d need to keep groceries and cook a meal since it’s a bit of a jaunt to “civilization.” Keith was friendly when you’d see him around, but not super responsive to messages. 」

「Great communication with the host. We really enjoyed the stay and the beautiful setting. The only recommendation I would make is to have the dehumidifier be self draining, as it got pretty damp unless we were able to empty it at least 3-4 times a day.」

「We were able to stay here and enjoy this time while being able to sightsee the island. The nearest beach is clothing optional so beware. And the new beach is Giant pumice rock... So before warned before you expect to go swimming everywhere. However the place itself was great for what we needed!」
