"The hotel feels dated and is in need of a revamp. The onsen space, while appreciated, was quite small and lacked the relaxing ambiance one would expect. Additionally, the water pressure at the bathing area was poor. Overall, the experience didn’t live up to expectations "

"Traditional style ryokan, futon beds set nightly. Incredible Nagasaki city views. Hotel is dated yet charming due to the friendly staff. Breakfast buffet is same selection daily which can seem a bit like Groundhog Day. Set on a steep hilltop, do not even think of walking from the Nagasaki train station with luggage unless you are a world class hiker."

Do note that this ryokan does not offer dining options hence you may want to consider other options if you are looking for a full onsen ryokan experience. "The biggest advantage of this ryokan hotel is its low price. The hot springs also had good quality. The ryokan staffs are friendly too. But firstly, the location of Ryokan belongs to the outskirts of Ureshino hot spring village. So there is no place to walk around. Second, overall cleanliness is not good. Third, the restaurant in the ryokan is very noisy on the day when there are group guests. "

"It had all the basic amenities that I needed and it was very clean. Just right opposite the Nagasaki Station with Japan's brilliant convenient stores around, and very easy access to tourist spots, with some that are just minutes of walk away. All the major tram stations are also around. I had a great time in Nagasaki!"
