"There were just a few English speaking employees, Iwata was one of them and then the facility was a little dated but they tried hard to keep it up to par; our first room was clean except that the bathroom had a rotten wooden panel that I discovered was the cause of the smell, so after spending time with 3 people for a few hours I had the room changed to a newly refurbished and clean one...maybe because of the whole situation I got some allergies going, not pleasant. The outside area is kept...

"This was my first time to stay in a Ryokan (traditional Japanese inn) and I really like it! The hotel was a bit old but still in good condition. They have indoor & outdoor hotspring pool plus many other facilities for you to enjoy during your stay. Buffet breakfast & dinner both were great too. Free shuttle service available too to pick up from/drop off to Kagaonsen station. Thumb up!"

"My only complaint is that it was difficult to find (I recommend not bothering with trains/busses and just take a taxi. You’ll save yourself a lot of grief). Otherwise I have nothing but great things to say! It was quiet, clean, and the staff were incredibly accommodating.
