"The hotel exceeded our expectations particularly in terms of cuisine. The breakfast, the al a carte menu and the dinner buffets were excellent. The staff were friendly and very attentive and the rooms were spacious and comfortable. The views from the rooms & the restaurant were majestic. The roof top bar was a plus but the rainy weather interrupted our use of the facility. All in all a perfect two day stay and I highly recommend this boutique hotel for visitors to Kandy. "

"The check-in was smooth, however we found the bell boy a bit rude. Hotel is nice, it looks new however some of the finishes were not top notch for the price you were paying. The exhaust in the bathroom kept turning on and off, and it sounded like a car was revving, so we kept it off. Since we just staying a night we didn't bring it up with the staff. "Fox resort property is an amazing find, its placed on the top of the mountain and views are amazing. I booked a suite and it has so much space for family and amazing views. Would recommend to book a suite. Staff is very helpful, courteous and also smiling. Restaurant has amazing room service. I highly recommend this resort if you are in Kandy."

"This hotel has spacious rooms and lovely windows to look over the city. What was absolutely outstanding was the customer service and genuine care from staff. We needed to extend our stay on our day of check out after being hospitalised in kandy. The staff organised everything and even waited until we were discharged from hospital at 1230AM to hand deliver us our room key and make sure we got in safe. "

"Location was very remote so transportation was an issue. The restaurant was almost non functional and whatever we requested was not available or out of stock. The night reception staff was terrible. We wanted to book airport transfer but this staff never communicated with us and so we had to frantically run about to arrange alternative transport.
