The only reason we did not give a 5 star was weather related. We are from Texas, checking in on a wet and freezing night, so the room was not warm enough for us. The setting is gorgeous on the following morning after the sun came out. It was a great camping experience, revisiting our youth outing with communal bathroom “miles” away in a cold night. But we were pampered by the ready made bedding etc. By the way, no electrical outlets in the tent, daaa! No microwave, no charging, no warm food in the tent , hahaha, long forgotten camp life!

We enjoyed our 2 nights at Sundance. Tent has a heater which was the huge benefit at cold night. Highly recommended.

We did not stay, this room was not what I had reserved. I requested a refund, and they said that Expedia has to request the refund. When I made the reservation I reserved a room with a bed and the pictures showed a fully made bed with sheets and pillows. We are visiting from out of the country, what we got was a tent and cots. We do not have camping gear, this was supposed to be a fully made bed according to descriptions and pictures of post.

Right off the main road, so the vehicle sounds were high. Could hear every vehicle passing by. Accessibility was great but came with a price. The tents and facilities were top notch and worth it. Quiet time wasnt observed by the campers and this was a touch of bad experience.

Friendly staff at the trading post. Did a last minute booking for the tipi. Had general questions they were answered very quickly by email. First time stepping into a tipi and it’s worth the experience to say you’ve slept in one :) Bathrooms and showers are very clean.

Beware of booking “riverside” cabins as many of them aren’t anywhere near the river. They don’t deal with loud guests playing music and shouting until 2 am. Not a good experience, won’t go back.
