We booked this property through Expedia and its by far the worst place we've visited. Its so hot it was unbearable. Its on the 3rd floor with no A/C or cooling. Just ceiling fans. I contacted the resort and was told theres no A/C and nothing they could do SOL pretty much. The first night we had to sleep on the lanai, 5 of us in lawn chairs. We ended leaving after the 1st day to book another place and pay. If you have children or elderly, this is not a good placs to stay, it gets 100 degrees inside the unit with no relief. Was told by customer service thar most of the Big Island doesn't offer cooling which is a lie. I've stayed at other resorts with no issues and other units in the complex had ac units on their porches.
The units states no shoes, but our feet were filthy within 5 min. Floors are not mopped or even cleaned, bird poop all over the carpet, hair in tub. Will never go back. Also its on the 3rd floor with no elevators. So not great for people with mobility issues or trying haul luggage or groceries up 3 flights of stairs in 90 degree heat.
The only positives is location near water, lanai, kitchen. Can't cook anything though because any heat from the stove would've made the temps worse.
