Spring Break

Good location close to the State Park and next to the river. The location was quiet and had most items for anstress-free stay. For off-season visitors, I'd recommend more games/puzzles.

Wonderful river house

Clean, comfortable house right on the Wallowa River and within walking distance of Wallowa Lake, the lodge, hiking, and the tram. Fantastic location if you are coming to Joseph, and the house has everything you need for a great trip. We loved falling asleep to the sound of the river each night!

Wallowa Lake Wonder Cabin

Loved the easy access to home. So quiet and peaceful. Saw regular deer daily, saw a fox one morning and squirrels daily. Home was one of our favorites. I will be going back to that home again. The weather was fantastic.

Clean, bright, newer home. Lovely backyard with rushing river just steps from back door. Close to everything but off main road and private/quiet. Highly recommend for 2 families with/without children.

We loved the house and its amenities. We like that it’s got all the conveniences but still maintains the charm of a cabin feel. We like that this property allowed our pet to come with us. We’ll be coming back to this property!

Wallowa Lake Wonder

The house was perfect for our group & very clean. We loved the stocked kitchen! So many rentals say they have a stocked kitchen and they do not! There was enough silverware and glassware, a crock pot, Pyrex dishes etc. we brought some of these items from home and didn’t end up needing them! We had a great time!

Great location

This home was perfect for a family get together. Everything worked as it should and the kitchen was appropriately stocked to make meals. The home seems fairly new, and each of the three bedrooms provided plenty of privacy for sleeping and reading. The backyard is right on the river, and the scenery is beautiful. It was also nice to have a garage to park the car out of the weather. Beds were very comfortable, and the home is on a quiet street, yet close to everything there is to do and see around Joseph. Great walking area too. It is a wonderful place to have a family get away, yet still feel like home.

The place was nice and clean. Beautiful views. Listening to the river run at night was my favorite. The shower heads are a little off so that was interesting to shower with. But I'd definitely come back

Beautiful Riverside Cabin

There was one major issue before we arrived to the correct cabin. Vacasa sent the directions to the cabin we cancelled back in March that was on the lake, when we were supposed to receive directions for the riverside cabin. After driving 376.7 miles, we were led on a wild goose chase. We were a caravan of 2 vehicles. The directions were confusing and we spent a good hour locating the wrong place! I had to text and then they apologized and sent the correct directions. We were all a bit upset by this because we were so tired of traveling, but then the correct place was beautiful so inside and outside, and the roaring river spectacular and no neighbors were present on either side of us, so peaceful and awesome! A very excellent place, after we finally got there.

A highway accident closure of road

Hi, we never got to stay at our rental, because the highway was closed due to a big semi truck accident. We were told by the Highway crew that the road was closed indefinitely. The Vacasa team offered nothing in the way of either compensation for the 3 night stay (~1200.00+), a temporary place for the night, or credit for a future trip. We are retired and live on our savings. This trip was our annual trip that we could afford. The agency sent us to the policy group, knowing that we don’t have protection insurance. I said, this policy should only be needed for personal reasons, not due to a highway closure. I have a back injury, but had to drive home, amounting to 500 miles…this caused a great deal of pain. We are very disappointed.
