The house seems very small and unassuming from the outside, but inside reminds me of my grandmother's house... in the *best* way! Quirky furnishings ranging from 100 year old dressers to brand-new Ikea finds, all work together to make this property feel real and lived in.
The living space is large and open, with plenty of seating. The kitchen is serviceable for cooking or serving easy meals (I wouldn't cook Thanksgiving here, but a steak and pasta meal would be possible). The freezer ice machine didn't work, but they supplied us with old-school ice trays, which was nice.
The master bedroom is relatively big, with enough room to maneuver, but it is tight around the sides of the bed, to make room for getting in and out of the bathroom. The master bath is a full, but small, bathroom, with a toilet/sink/shower. We preferred to use the hall bath which was bigger, and had a bathtub (the hot water is amazing!).
There is also a laundry room with a full-size washer and dryer, but we didn't use those while we were there.
Getting in and out of the property to main roads was very easy, with two main roads within access, depending on which way you went. Lots of fast food, restaurant, and shopping options, too.
I came to Jboro to see the 2024 eclipse (wow!), and I was able to watch it from the backyard... no need to go anywhere else! Overall, this was a great home, in a great location, that fit my needs perfectly. I'd stay again in a heartbeat, if I ever found myself in Jboro again.
