"This was such a beautiful lodge for a Christmas vacation. The lodge and grounds were beautifully decorated and very classy. The staff were very attentive and took care of all our needs. The Christmas buffet at the Timberlake Restaurant was also delicious and plentiful. We will be back for sure. The only wish I had is that the lodge was pet free. I am allergic to animal dander and I struggled quite a bit in my room but it was fine throughout the rest of the lodge. "

"We rented a three-bedroom suite to go ski in Sugar Moutain before Christmas. This property really surprised us on the location, cleanliness, amenities provided and lovely atmosphere. All of us LOVED this property and cannot wait to go back. First, the location is great, 1.4 miles from the ski resort, 2 miles from downtown Banner Elk, with a lot of dining options around. The suit is really well maintained, with a well equipped kitchen, providing nice cooking utencils, cups, plates, and bowls. The unit has central AC system, making it really nice and quiet. It also has a gaslog fireplace, super nice for winter. All the rooms in the suite are large and mattresses are very comfortable. The community has a activity center, providing games, puzzles and showing movies every night. We LOVE LOVE LOVE the vibe and were really surprised by the amenities provided. We cannot wait to go back next year. Thank you SO MUCH for the well managed property!"
