Step back in time to the 70s with this groovy cabin, lovingly built in 1973, resting on over 4.5 acres bordering the Santa Fe National Forest.

During your stay, unwind in hammocks under the expansive sky, cozy up by the fireplace as night falls, or gather 'round the fire pit, perfect for marshmallow roasting and bird watching under the star-studded canopy. This is your sanctuary of peace and tranquility, offering every kind of retreat you desire.

Embark on leisurely strolls through aspen groves or pine forests, and marvel at the unique rock formations of the Jemez mountains. Explore mountain biking trails or hike through Ice Cave Canyon, or simply relax in a hammock and nap away the day. Just two miles from San Antonio Hot Springs, this cozy cabin offers an ideal escape from the hustle and bustle of everyday life.

Step inside to enjoy the nostalgia of original fixtures, dishes, and décor, all enhanced for comfort. At nearly 9000 feet elevation, savor the pristine mountain air and endless starry skies from your private haven. The entire cabin is yours to enjoy, with blackout curtains in the single bedroom and a plush sofa bed in the living room ensuring a restful night's sleep for all.

While the driveway is a bit steep, it accommodates at least 4 vehicles—park to the left to keep the road clear for neighbors. Check the National Park Service website for any area closures, and prepare for potential power outages in our remote location, especially during inclement weather.

Nestled atop the Jemez Mountains, access roads can be challenging in winter or rain, so we recommend a four-wheel drive and suggest having chains for added traction. For your peace of mind, our property is equipped with 3 outdoor cameras and a Ring doorbell.

We warmly welcome pets, though a $30 cleaning fee per pet per night applies. Please keep your furry friends leashed due to the diverse local wildlife—deer, elk, squirrels, chipmunks, bobcats, coyotes, bears, birds, and Mexican wolves. Refer to our house rules for more details.

Lastly, our smoke-free environment ensures a clean and healthy space for all guests. Smoking of any kind is strictly prohibited on our property and surrounding private areas, with violators facing a $500 fine per occurrence and possible eviction.
