Fun Fairytale Cabin
We lovingly called this the 'Witch's Cabin". Everything was as listed. We had fun trying to figure out the history and original design of the cabin. Marc was great to work with and responded very quickly. If you are looking for quiet, rustic, and charming this is the place.

We loved it!
The property was nice and secluded. We brought our dogs and they had plenty of room to play around. The house was so corky and cute! We really enjoyed sitting out on the deck at night and star gazing! There was zero light pollution and I even saw a shooting star! We had a blast and definitely recommend this place

Quaint little cabin
Enjoyed our stay and time with family. Host was a good communicator. Cabin was clean and neat. There was a leak in the upstairs roof which allowed water to leak onto futon, making it unusable. Fortunately, my adult daughters were ok sharing a bed. Overall, a neat place in a very quiet area.

Unique charm in a quiet setting
If you're looking for an out of the ordinary house with a funky charm, this is the place. Very peaceful surroundings but close enough to Jefferson /West Jefferson and all those areas have to offer. There is actually a great walking/hiking trail about three miles from the house.

Better places 2 stay.
needs a lot of sprucing up. Window over sink is broken. needs interior decorating. No washer and dryer, no cable tv, internet is very hard 2 use. Should have land line phone for local calls. Need outside gas grill and grass needs 2 be cut. Would not rent again and will not advis any one 2 stay. We come 2 Boone and West Jefferson 2/3 times yearly, On a scale of 1-10, would rate this place a 2 at best.

Second Anniversary
My husband and I and our two dogs had a great time. The house was very cute and the neighborhood was quite. We were close to downtown Jefferson as well as West Jefferson. Only complaints are that the oven would not work properly so was unable to cook in it and only one couch to lounge in. Loved the upstairs master's suite as well. Would recommend though.

This property was really charming with a lot of personality. The location was great, close to downtown Jefferson, parks, grocery stores but still distant enough where you had privacy. Communicating with Marc was a breeze--he was always prompt and friendly in his responses. Would highly recommend!
