"Beautiful location with a friendly staff. The views are great and it’s right by the top of the falls. Each floor has an area with tables set up and puzzles out. That was nice to sit and work on a puzzle with a view when it was raining. The restaurant could use some improvement - food is standard buffet items, so ok but not great. "Beautiful and charming little cottage nestled in the woods that felt quiet and secluded, but it was only a 15 minute drive from restaurants and other businesses. The host, Kellie, was awesome and she went out of her way to make everyone feel welcome. The bed was so comfortable and the bathrooms were clean and modern. It was such a a pleasant and relaxing experience. We will definitely return."

"House was a wonderful place to relax for the week. Bed was comfortable. Loved the views of the mountains. Deer met us at the fence line one morning. Neighborhood was quiet and very peaceful. We loved the two wood burning fireplaces. Owners were very responsive to our questions. Would love to return!!"

"Everything was wonderful - clean, organized, well stocked, and the surrounding property was pretty. Walked around the small lake on the property - was beautiful and peaceful. The host was very responsive and helpful. I did not have time to take advantage of the adjoining med-spa for a massage or a facial - hopefully next time. Would definitely stay here again! A great birthday trip all the way around! "

"We rented "The Lodge" to hold our church's annual men's retreat and it was wonderful! Plenty of room, great location, quiet, restful, and spiritually renewing! We had a wonderful weekend in a wonderful location and everyone who went thoroughly enjoyed their stay! We highly recommend "The Lodge" to anyone who wants a relaxing getaway in the North Georgia mountains!"

"The house is spacious and beautiful with fabulous views. We had everything we needed to keep us busy and the Big Canoe community has tons of extras that everyone was able to enjoy. The host was very friendly and responsive. Had a slight problem with the coded door lock, but the host quickly solved the problem (even though it was very late). We made some wonderful memories with the family for Thanksgiving. I definitely recommend this house and would stay here again!"
