Perfect house, wonderful view
Isobel welcomed us to this lovely, comfortable and immaculately clean property where we enjoyed a week’s relaxing holiday. The house is quite remote, but the drive there and out is fascinating, changing daily with the light, as does the view from the house. We hope to return again when possible.

The view was incredible. The house was equipped with every thing we needed. We were glad to have the washer and dryer. It was a beautiful and long drive to get there. The host was very responsive to our needs.

We were made to feel most welcome and met at the cottage by Isobel and Ken. Cottage had all the facilities needed and more The view from the cottage of the Shaint islands was magnificent and tbe whole area is beautiful thanks for a lovely stay

A home from home with all of modern life luxuries in a wild but beautiful setting.
We spent 3 comfortable days in this beautifully appointed family home . The views over the inlet to the Shiant isles in the Minch were spectacular in the late evening sun when it lit up the islands and made them stand out against the shadowy North end of Skye in the background. For those who want away from the daily grind, this is the place to relax. The only drawback for me was that it is 15 miles from the main Tarbert to Stornoway road , but the lack of traffic means that stopping in passing places is a rarity. In all a very nice and comfortable place to stay. Just remember that if your stay involves a Sunday , don't expect to find shops or visitor centres open then. You can eat in hotels if necessary. A nice touch was being welcomed by Mr and Mrs Kennedy (the owners) rather than have a faceless hand over of keys via a security coded box at the front door. In conclusion, despite its remoteness, the luxury and comfort would draw me back to this property. Thank you for sharing it with us.
