"We have been to the Big Island many times and staying Waipio Gardens was one of the best trips we've ever had there. It is a beautiful property that provided serenity, great hiking and amazing beach time. The house is nestled in the jungle in the valley with gorgeous plants, fruit trees, lots of birds and even wild horses. We picked and enjoyed fresh oranges, grapefruit and papaya. The hosts, Sukumar and Kristi, were very helpful in the planning of the trip as well as ferrying us to and from the house. Getting there was indeed part of the adventure and this location provides the opportunity to experience a part of the island that most will never get to see. Would highly recommend!"

"The house was very nice and spacious. But lack many things you would expect to have at a short term rental no condiments of any kind. Probably the worst thing was as they didn’t have umbrellas in the backyard at all so just expose sunshine in the afternoon also the front door was in operable, so we had to come through the mudroom every day which seemed hokie. Knifes that were. had a very well equipped kitchen line. It was a very small and unequipped kitchen seem like everything useful was locked away in the owners closet and left us needed to purchase everything we needed to pull off a nice trip bare bones for 56,000 a week I’d stay clear"

"Great property that is far superior to a hotel. Having a full kitchen and laundry, multiple bathrooms and bedrooms for the same or less expense as a hotel makes Paniolo Greens my favorite choice on Big Island. "

"All wonderful except for entering the home which wasnot clearly outlined in your communications: *0423 DID NOTOPEN ANY DOORS - finally we were allowed to enter with additional information about keys! after 45 minutes and an equal amount of mosquito bites. Sad Welcome ........"

Check-in couldn't have been easier, Yumi was swift to respond to any communications, and the building itself is one-of-a-kind. I'd definitely go back."

"We have been coming to the Hawaiian Islands now for about 5 years. This home met all expectations and more. The owners are responsive to requests and comments and obviously take pride in their house The beds are very comfortable, the home was very clean, the kitchen is well equipped with everything you need for cooking, you can eat at the island or sit in the formal dinning room that sits 8 people, the bathrooms are large and spacious, the covered patio is a great place to sit on to enjoy the beauty of the landscape around you or to watch the stars at night. Waking up to the sounds of the birds singing is a great start to your day. I could go on and on about how great this place is. You can't go wrong. You do need a car, however, the home is located minutes from some of the nicest sandy beach’s on the Island Spencer Beach, Hapuna Beach, Beach 67, Beach 69, wonderful farmers markets in Waimea, Waikoloa (A beach) and Waikoloa Village. The Ala Khaki National HistoricTrail is a great hike and if you start your Hike at the Spencer Beach Visitor Center you get an idea of the history of the area and an understanding of how the Island began.
