"Great place for families visiting Shimoda and Izu Peninsula. Definitely a hotel catering to Japanese tourists, but with a little Japanese and respect the staff is very friendly and works with you. Some of the staff spoke some English. Bathhouse, arcade, and hotel amenities were great. Walking distance to everything downtown and easy spot to drive to other locations. Would definitely stay here again with family on vacation. "

"This is a great value property close to Shimoda and the railway station. All rooms are slightly different in layout and are very comfortable and beautifully decorated. "It’s an unique hotel in many senses. It’s located at a remote almost private beach. The hotel offers unlimited refills for food and alcoholic drinks. The room charge is comparatively inexpensive.
