Club room is super worth it since there’s food throughout the day with yummy cheesecakes etc. There’s even free flow liquor available. The club room is pretty and nicely renovated. "Wonderful views from this hilltop hotel, but it's a long, steep walk back from the beaches! We took the hotel bus down to the beach and walked back after spending some time at the port. It's isolated, but there's a free bus from/to Toyohashi Station. The breakfast and dinner buffets are great, and much of the hotel has been recently renovated. Unfortunately they have changed the afternoon times for the onsen so that women have access to their part at 3pm but men from 5pm, which we found...

"The staff treated me so well. Working with me even with a language barrier. After a few weeks of the Tokyo and Osaka life, that place was a slice of heaven, my only regret was not staying longer. "As previous guests note, twenty five minutes from Toba station. As such, no restaurants or stores aside from in the hotel, but plenty of beautiful scenery. I didn’t have the dinner option due to price and instead brought take out from the local food shop (Marche) near the station, but fully enjoyed the lavish spread of fresh foods (fruits and veggies, too) and view of the bay.
