The parking nearby was not bad but you have to pay for it. And the taxi drivers are very rude when you are dropping off your luggage or packing up to go in the small front lot. However, the lobby is beautiful and this is so close to everything in Inverness. So the location can't be beat, and the front entrance is stunning. Parking isn't bad, just costs money. The attached restaurant is pretty good, and the option for breakfast was nice. The room okay -- somewhat small but not a bad place to rest. The TV did not offer much in terms of programming.

We had high hopes for this property but we weren’t thrilled. The property itself is gorgeous and well located to restaurants, bars and shopping. Our room was small but the bathroom was huge. The bathtub was great. Our mattress seemed thin, and not very comfortable. We had a few steps we had to log our suitcases up after getting off the lift. The lobby is gorgeous, but the property could use some updating.

Located at Inverness train station, this classic railway hotel with a photogenic lobby puts you steps away from the city's main attractions, including the Victorian Market, traditional music (Hootenanny & McGregors), scores of pubs, museums, the Castle etc. If you're in the market for outdoor clothing or gear for your Highland adventuring, there are 2-3 great shops on the very same block.

She’s ok… next to a busy and loud train station. A few homeless people loitering around outside the hotel. There are 5 parking spots for the hotel, we did get lucky one night. She’s definitely seen better days, and is probably due for a face lift. The staff were nice, but the restaurant folks needed a hug for sure. It was convenient to shops and food, but most shops were closed by 6. Overall I would stay some place else next time.

Disappointing stay as unexpectedly there was no parking available outside the hotel. We had to double park while Taxi tooted horns at us as we unloaded the car and then park in a public carparking building for £8, 5 minutes walk away. We had made a booking through expedia for 2 adults and 1 child and had prepaid for the room. When we arrived the hotel charged us an additional £30 for the third person even though the room booked had 2 double beds in it and did not require an extra bed made up. The room was fine and bathroom spacious. We would have chosen another hotel if we had been aware of the lack of parking and additional charges before the booking payment had been made.
