"We loved the property and would definitely stay there again. The style of the house is unique, relaxing, and fun, and we give that a 5-star. The accuracy of the description is 4-star because the shower in the bathroom off the kitchen was inoperable. More accurately, it functions as a 2-1/2 bath home. There were also some lightbulbs out and we could not figure out how to operate the living area ceiling lights. Again, we loved the property and would stay there next time we're in the area."

"We really enjoyed our stay! We loved how creative the layout and decorations were. The place has everything you’d need and expect to find. The bed is super comfy! The host was very responsive. The cafe next door has excellent sandwiches and coffee (but it’s closed on Sundays). Don’t expect much from the “river walk”. It’s really just a sidewalk not more than a block and a half long. "The property is exactly as portrayed on VRBO. We came for the chocolate wine trail despite several inches of snow on the ground. This place was perfect for our needs. Close to everything but private. The bed was comfortable and having a refrigerator and microwave was handy. We loved the big screen TV but my husband does have one suggestion: a big comfy recliner in the living room would be a great addition. We will definitely return next year."

"My family and I had a great stay at Carrie's chalet! The place had everything we needed and more. It was really clean, cozy and right on the end of one of the lakes so it was very private. We could fish from the dock which we loved and took the paddleboard and a kayak out one day which was a lot of fun. Overall we had a great stay and would stay here again!"
