“We had a lovely time we were close to many tourist attractions which allowed us to visit a few. The hotel itself was clean and comfortable. The food was well presented and very filling and tasty. The only downside was that the room had no fridge. A necessity to keep water bottles cold in the beautiful hot days that we had. ”

We enjoyed our stay even though we were placed in the adjacent building without elevator (carrying our heavy luggage upstairs was a pain). The restaurant is wonderful, but the spa was closed during our stay, bummer! Check the schedule if planning on using the spa”

“We stayed 3 nights. The location is about a 17 minute walk from the bus station. Take Pearse Street, there is less of an incline. The room was very comfortable. The bathroom was clean with plenty of shelf space, nice towels and spacious shower area. The drain was a little sluggish but it did work. We liked the big windows as they made the room more airy & bright. If you keep the windows closed at night, it reduces the traffic noise. The on-site restaurant was also good. The fresh fish special……

“I’ve stayed here a few times and the hotel itself is lovely, but on this occasion my room stank of cigarette smoke for 3 days straight, couldn’t get away from the smell, as an asthmatic I wasn’t happy the hotel let this happen ”
