We had a great stay staff was very helpful, and friendly… although something’s could still use an update which looks to be in progress… The one thing I was disappointed with is the Restaurant on site was not open for breakfast as there is nothing on that end of town other than Burger King… would be a nice option to even have a room service option.. on weekends??just a suggestion ..

Would have been a 1 star but, I feel the continental breakfast was good. Our weekend was incredibly noisy due to hockey conferences in the area and kids running around until late in the evening. Our room looked like it was tidied and not really cleaned. There was quite a bit of dog hair present and in the shower, you could see footprints.

Our thermostat did not work, so our room was very cold. No offer for assistance to rectify the problem. Tub had black mold around the caulk and was dirty with hair and an old wash cloth in it. The sidewalk to the parking lot was not cleared or salted, was extremely slippery.

We walked into a dirty bathtub and dirty toilet - the room was 77 degrees and felt like a sauna and the thermostat was not working. Kids were playing hockey in the hallway until 11pm waking up the baby - the hall lights shone in through the door windows all night long making it look like broad daylight. No sleep was had by anyone. The staff was friendly tho and tried to help with a fan - but the fan didn’t work. :(

Not what it used to be
Had no soap or shampoo in either of the 2 rooms we reserved, clerk did not know where to these items and had to go find an empty room that had these stocked. There are buckets in the hallways to catch drips from the ceilings. I have stayed here before about 2 years ago without a problem but it has gotten run-down since then.

Booked a room for 5. They do not have extra beds to roll in. They offered us blankets for the floor to sleep on. Didn’t offer anything else. Even when asked why we could book this as a 5 person room when it’s clearly only 4, they replied the website is under maintenance. Very unimpressed.

When I arrived, a large group was setting up a Halloween party, which later grew quite loud. I was upstairs and at the end of the hallway away, but the noise still traveled up to my room. There was a small group that sounded like they were drunk and fighting outside my room about 10pm. They moved on after a few minutes, and before I thought I should bother the staff. Even though I was informed that renovations were taking place, and my room had been done already, I would hope that they were yet to complete painting in that room as it was poorly done and splatter from darker paint was visible in the bathroom especially. The heater was very loud and did not work automatically, as even on low, it was blowing hot until the room became far too hot and I turned it off manually. Despite these issues, I did sleep comfortably through the night.

Leaking ceiling, landlord special “improvements”
To preface this, the staff was excellent and they did the best they could. This place was being renovated and that was not disclosed at the time of reserving. The rooms advertised were not the ones we received. The ceiling was falling down near the lobby, there was signs of the roof leakage and the ceiling was bowed in some spots. My family woke up sneezing every morning and I believe there was mold. We switched rooms right away because it was very dirty. The new room did not have a working AC and the grout in the shower was black and filthy. Most of the rooms weren’t on an exterior wall so there wasn’t a window, as was advertised in the picture. There was only these French doors, with no curtain, that let the light from the hallway in, so the room was too bright to sleep. The pool room had no ventilation and was dimly lit with almost no natural light. Because of this there was mold growing on the walls and ceiling. There was so much condensation in the pool room the towels were wet sitting on the shelf. The pool water was so cloudy you couldn’t see the bottom. My daughter’s hair was like straw after swimming for an hour. There was no elevator. For breakfast, we came down at 8 o’clock (served 6am-10am) and all the food was already gone, the waffle batter was super watery and they ran out of that by 9 as well.
