"My husband and I spent two nights at the Benefield House while visiting friends in the area. The hosts, Tommy and Nicole, were very friendly and accommodating. Their knowledge of the history of their house was very interesting. Both of the breakfasts were delicious and the best we had ever had in any of the B & B before. We definitely will be planning to return to Jefferson, TX and to stay at the Benefield. 5 stars!!!!!"

"Bessie’s Landing is always a respite from our hectic city life. The snacks she provides are substantial and we always love her delicious homemade blueberry bread. It is always exceptionally clean and we love her welcoming decor. The front porch, privacy, and goldfish pond is a definite plus!!"
