"This house is in a perfect location in GM! We walked all over and enjoyed the view of the lake. The house is cozy and clean and had everything we needed. We contacted the host once with a question and he was gracious and charming and funny. Would recommend and stay here again. "

"Property was very clean, and had everything we needed for a short stay. We especially enjoyed the ping pong table, and a visiting kitty who checked on us every day. Nice outdoor spaces too, we had a bonfire one nite and it was very easy to do. Walkable to downtown and the harbor. "

"Lovely accommodations in a secluded woods, perfectly suited to the culture and pristine landscape of the Border Lakes country. Our room was spacious and beautifully appointed and Barbara and Ted were very gracious hosts. We truly did not want to leave! The tiny kitchen needed a little more light but worked perfectly for meals for two. "

"This was our first stay at Hillside Harbor, but it will not be our last! We’ve stayed in many VRBO properties and this was by far the nicest one. The house is absolutely beautiful, high end finishes, fantastic layout and has everything you need. Every detail is accounted for. The location can’t be beat, and the hosts were so responsive and helpful throughout. We were there to celebrate our parents 55th wedding anniversary and DeeDee’s house made it a wonderful weekend."

It sure helped that the weather was picture perfect for early fall. We enjoyed the band, toured the town, hiked, & played in Lake Superior. Stones Throw had plenty of room for all 10 of us.
