It wasn't a good experience. It said breakfast included & they just had coffee and cereal bars. The Internet didn't work, the fire alarm set off twice as I was trying to sleep. There were roaches in the bathroom, the tv's screen was blue. Liz at the frontdesk was not very helpful and wasn't nice at all. Terrible experience here.

We liked the convenience to the hospital. The property, although very clean, needs some attention to the individual rooms. 1)The stove in our room could not be turned off and my husband who is an electrician, had to turn the breaker to the stove off making it rather difficult. 2) the drain in the bathroom area was missing and had to be stuffed with a wash cloth so as not to lose anything down the drain and maybe stopping it up, not to mention the guest losing their item. 3) the back door entry could not be used without getting someone to walk to the door and open it for the guest to come in; in other words, the card reader did not work. 4) when calling to make the reservation I asked specifically for TWO DOUBLE BEDROOMS.. with separate baths, NOT TWO DOUBLE BEDS with one bath. I was told i would have that. Arrived at the Hotel and was told "we don't have separate bedrooms"... taking under consideration the person i spoke with had aVERY THICK accent, I'll overlook that this time but i suggest you make it clearer..... we were there for 5 days and made it okay but doubt seriously, if i can find another hotel with a suite, I'm going back. Personnel was very friendly and helpful.

Furnishings and general upkeep (walls, carpet, doors, elevator) were noticeably more dated and rundown than other ESA locations. Whole facility smelled like mildew. Loiterers in parking lot all evening hanging out at vehicles, people repeatedly propping open side door with a rock so anyone could come and go without an entry card. Breakfast is Nutrigrain bars, small packaged muffins and oatmeal packets with coffee urns. Fridge was not very cold and my meal went bad overnight. Plus sides were bed and shower seemed clean which is mostly what I needed. Staff was nice enough. Would stay again only in a pinch but otherwise will go elsewhere.

Hallways smelled like Marijuana. Toilet was not working, asked several people to fix or move to new room. Nobody responded until the night before we checked out. Had to use lobby bathroom. TV did not work. Vending machine took money but did not work.

Not very good to stay/Close to the medical center
There was no sheets inside the room for the sofa bed, bathroom space is small, the elevator was acting weird, it was raining and there is no lobby entrance to avoid get wet, pictures promise something better so for me this will be like a misleading advertising for what to expect. There is only one main thing good and it’s the reason I made this reservation, is close to the hospital we had the appointment. The pool was dirty and the breakfast was just coffee instant chocolate, instant oatmeal, muffins and cookies, the hotel smells like cigarettes.

This hotel has been our go to when at MD Anderson. However, we will not be back. It gets worse each time. This trip there was no coffee pots in room, nothing at all basically and it’s obvious why. It probably all gets stolen. The ice machine didn’t work. The smell of marijuana is knocks you down when you step into the doors. The management needs to do better. This could be such a great hotel for the location to the medical facilities. Unfortunately they’ve lost our business.

Room had a lot of missing things, no microwave , fridge didn’t work right, no trash cans, smelled weird. They were people outside partying well into night. The night clerk was rude, they got rules for when they stop giving u everything. We were refused towels cause of time, then watch clerk give to next person walking in.

Not the type of place you would want to stay in with loved ones in the hospital. The rugs reeked of urine and cigarette smoke. We left as soon as we could.

We chose this property to be close to St. Luke's Hospital and O'Quinn Medical Tower, Houston TX for a surgical appointment the following day. The location is excellent in that regard. Our room reservation was for a king bed, non-smoking. Pre-paid. The check-in time was 3 pm however we finished all our hospital pre-requisites early so asked to check-in early (1 pm). Our king bed room was not ready but they substituted a queen bed room and didn't charge us for early check-in. The room was clean, but worn. This is Extended Stay America; the dishwasher was not useable (no racks on the inside), we had to get help with the TV remote to run the tv, the shower head sprayed water in many directions and no countertop in the bathroom to set toiletries on. There is a desk-like counter/bar in the main part of the room. The bed was very comfortable. There was only one small cockroach between the set of towels in the bathroom. I didn't check for bedbugs. The breakfast offered is coffee and hot water for tea and instant oatmeal. There were 2 kinds of breakfast bars. All of this was presented in the lobby from 6:30-9. We were not concerned about breakfast because no eating was requested before my husband's surgical appointment. The elevator was not working when we arrived but by the end of the day it had been fixed. The lobby, parking lot and hallways were clean. Again, we chose this hotel to be close to the medical facilities.
