The Hollywood Star Cars Museum is a must-see for television and movie fans as well as car enthusiasts. Find over 40 of Hollywood’s most famous cars, displayed with interactive exhibits relating to their relevant movies and shows. Have your photo taken in a car’s driver’s seat and meet well-known Hollywood actors.
Highlights of the museum include the Ghostbuster’s Ecto-1 vehicle and the General Lee, from The Dukes of Hazzard. See Batmobiles from the Batman television series and the Batman Returns movie. Look for the DeLorean driven by Marty McFly in Back to the Future, vehicles from The Flintstones movie, The Munsters’ Drug-u-la and K.I.T.T from Knightrider, among others.
Not only will you find cars of television and movie fame, but also a collection of personal cars of some of the world’s biggest stars. Check out a one-of-a-kind Cadillac built for Paul McCartney and vehicles that once belonged to Bob Hope, Dolly Parton, Elvis Presley, Frank Sinatra and the Beach Boys.
You are free to bring your own camera to the museum and take as many photos as you wish of the cars. If you want to sit inside the cars you’ll need to pay an extra fee. Go to the museum’s shop to purchase in-car souvenir photos and replica toy cars.
Time your visit to the museum with the guest appearances by television and movie stars. Take pictures with the stars and have them autograph your personal memorabilia. The museum is located in downtown Gatlinburg, just a short walk from the Gatlinburg Space Needle. The Gatlinburg Trolley stops outside the museum’s entrance and there is pay-and-display parking nearby.
