A hidden gem

Our Base for Brimfield
Great location on beautiful lake, with very accommodating host! Somewhat older but quaint cabin-style lakehouse with excellent recreational amenities. There were a few kitchen and bathroom items that were missing when we checked in, but we were able to purchase those at a nearby market. This was a great base for our September visit to the Brimfield Flea Market and Antique Show!

Even for a rainy stormy stay, we enjoyed Kim’s home. We loved the Brimfield flea market. Also had fun playing games on the lake view porch, which were many because of bad weather. We befriended a snapping turtle that lives near the shore. We named him Gary. The kitchen had everything we needed (except garbage bags). Maines Seafood was a treat. Lobster rolIs and ice cream! It was a nice stay. Thanks Kim

Great stay on this waterfront property
Perfect property on a great reservoir with boating swimming and excellent fishing. Our family spent most of our time out back on the dock. Property comes with several kayaks and a peddle boat. The price was very reasonable. We would definitely stay here again.

My family and I enjoyed every minute! We spent most of our time outside on the decks and dock. Loved the screen porch in the evening. My grandsons caught so many fish and kayaked every day. I loved floating in my tube watching everyone. It really was the ideal space for my family.

Wonderful home!
We had such a nice time staying at your home, it was so relaxing. Everyone had a favorite place to hang out, mine was a tossup between the sunroom and the table down by the water. The fishing was very good, we caught a variety including pumpkinseed, perch, bass and pike - and that was just from the dock! The lake is pretty active on the weekend with various boats, waterskiing, jet skis and the like, it was fun to watch them go by. Boston is a little over an hour away, depending on traffic, an easy day trip. We were just as happy relaxing at the house, with an occasional hop to Sturbridge for groceries or some ice cream from Wicked Licks. Kim is super friendly and communicative, she even let us know that the lake was being treated one day and should not be used. (Which happened to be Boston day so no sad fishermen here!) We're so glad we found your home on VRBO, thank you so much!

This cabin turned out to be perfect for our trip to Brimfield. The location of the cabin was great. Neighborhood very quiet. Beds comfortable, Kitchen very well equipped. We all enjoyed the evening kayaking and peddle boating. Worked well for us. The lake is beautiful.

Lovely house with spectacular location on the reservoir. 3 levels of decks for all possible weather. Downstairs is almost a separate apartment with its own refrigerator. The owner was super helpful with our questions or concerns.

Very comfortable, nice place to stay, had everything we needed and more!
Well equipped, comfortable furnishings and beds. The access to the lake and dock areas were wonderful. The neighboring people and boat traffic were very friendly. The amount of rooms and space( beds, appliances & bathrooms could easily accommodated 9-10 people. Being allowed to use the owners equipment( life vests kayaks & fishing equipment, games etc...) was very welcoming .And the best part was the screened in upper porch, lovely for watching the world go y on the lake! Only one thing , the DVD player was impossible to get to work, the owners might want to consider getting a new one.
