AS WELL AS LINENS: FITTED, FLAT SHEETS AND PILLOWCASES
IF YOU DON'T WANT TO PACK THEM, THERE IS A WALMART 10 MINUTES FROM US,
bUT PLEASE DISPOSE OF THEM BEFORE YOU DEPART.

Nestled in the small community of Holland, MA, the Gateway to Western MA and only minutes from the Connecticut border and Routes 84 and 90, this cozy little house is the perfect get-away for family fun. You can enjoy fishing, swimming, kayaking and paddle boating, outdoor dining and our fire pit. We welcome you to bring your own boat to tie up to our dock (the boat launch is directly across the lake). Sleeps 5 comfortably (queen, full and bunk beds), and there is a full futon couch in the screened-in sun room, which by the way, includes a dining area and surround view of the lake. Our home also features a mother-in-law apartment with the full bed, a tv room, refrigerator and the 2nd full bathroom with laundry room. We purchased the house in December, 2014, and upgrades included adding the 2nd full bath, washer/dryer, new furnishings, bedding, towels and tableware, plus lots of cosmetic improvements. Our lake house is "new and improved" for the upcoming season!

Nearby Holland Market is perfect for last-minute purchases, and Diane's Villanova and The Traveler restaurant offer delicious food in family-friendly restaurants. Sturbridge is minutes away for rainy day fun or a change of pace: Old Sturbridge Village, a living museum which re-creates life in rural New England during the 1790s through 1830s; fine dining and family dining, shopping, cinemas, antiquing and more.

Place was very clean. Had everything we needed. we only left twice to get dinner. Views were amazing, beds were very comfortable. The dock and deck were really nice and private and comfortable ! We had a lovely week kayaking and tanning and playing games. We brought our own fire stick and switch for games and movies but there is a Roku there to sign into your streaming services. Wi-Fi was really good. Priced very well for a house right on the lake with its own dock and deck. The host was very responsive and friendly!

Quiet Holiday
Everyone in the neighborhood was kind and courteous. The house is nice and met our needs. There are some updates with nice carpet and appliances and also a few areas whoch may benefit from some TLC when time allows. The porch, with lots of windows facing the water, was a nice bonus as was the large dock. We enjoyed our stay and appreciated the ability to stay for a week.

Nice Lakeside house
Nice older Lake House, right on the water. Great outdoor seating, watching boaters going by & watching sunsets. Several options, inside & out to enjoy your meals. Our Grandkids had a fantastic time in the water, the smiles on their faces were priceless, they also both fished for the first time, and both caught a fish. Our Base for Brimfield
Great location on beautiful lake, with very accommodating host! Somewhat older but quaint cabin-style lakehouse with excellent recreational amenities. There were a few kitchen and bathroom items that were missing when we checked in, but we were able to purchase those at a nearby market. This was a great base for our September visit to the Brimfield Flea Market and Antique Show!

Stormy vacation
Even for a rainy stormy stay, we enjoyed Kim’s home. We loved the Brimfield flea market. Also had fun playing games on the lake view porch, which were many because of bad weather. We befriended a snapping turtle that lives near the shore. We named him Gary. The kitchen had everything we needed (except garbage bags). Maines Seafood was a treat. Lobster rolIs and ice cream! Great stay on this waterfront property
Perfect property on a great reservoir with boating swimming and excellent fishing. Our family spent most of our time out back on the dock. Property comes with several kayaks and a peddle boat. The price was very reasonable. We would definitely stay here again.

My family and I enjoyed every minute! We spent most of our time outside on the decks and dock. Loved the screen porch in the evening. My grandsons caught so many fish and kayaked every day. I loved floating in my tube watching everyone. It really was the ideal space for my family.

Wonderful home!
We had such a nice time staying at your home, it was so relaxing. Everyone had a favorite place to hang out, mine was a tossup between the sunroom and the table down by the water. The fishing was very good, we caught a variety including pumpkinseed, perch, bass and pike - and that was just from the dock! The lake is pretty active on the weekend with various boats, waterskiing, jet skis and the like, it was fun to watch them go by. Boston is a little over an hour away, depending on traffic, an easy day trip. We were just as happy relaxing at the house, with an occasional hop to Sturbridge for groceries or some ice cream from Wicked Licks. Kim is super friendly and communicative, she even let us know that the lake was being treated one day and should not be used. (Which happened to be Boston day so no sad fishermen here!) We're so glad we found your home on VRBO, thank you so much!
