"We had a great stay at the Novotel Alster. It was our first visit to Hamburg. The hotel was clean and always smelt lovely. The staff were nice and everything requested was brought up straight away. The breakfast offering was fresh and lovely and I really liked the fresh lemon and ginger tea bar. You are on the door step of the under/overground which was fantastic and about 12 minutes away from the gorgeous town centre. I had no issues and look forward to coming and staying here again. "This hotel has character to spare, located a bit outside the city center it's a nice quiet place to stay that's still inside Hamburg. Small TV and bed in the single room, but the quality of the furnishings and balcony more than made up for it. The breakfast service, bistro cart, and mini-bar were all fantastic, and the staff couldn't be more helpful."
