"Don't understand what all the naysayers are about... one of the best stays we're ever had! From the first staff we met when we arrived (Alex the car valetl), check in/out (Briana), to breakfast each morning (Karen); even the cook (sorry, didn't catch his name) was so cordial every morning... and omgosh Justin the bartender was hilarious! What a great sense of humor a real people person! The staff really made this La Quinta happen! The facility was top notch too... the biggest brkft area we've ever seen, brkft was good too - even though they didn't have grits!😀 Rooms were super clean, large walk in shower, greaty view of the town, plenty of space for luggage to sit. This is a supurb hotel. It is walking distance to downtown, 0.9mile, but the bridge is a bear - steep! But there are elevators half way up! Highly recommend using. This hotel was very pleasing in all aspects. ONE NOTE: parking is $25 a day - $30 valet, for the five dollars it is well worth it, those boys hustle! So now you've been told, so don't post a review about the cost of parking!! THIS PLACE ROCKS!!!"

"From check-in to check-out, the hospitality and service were outstanding. When we realized we didn’t have a proper phone charger, we inquired at the front desk, and the hotel manager generously lent us his personal charger. The interior design and meticulous attention to detail give this hotel a true five-star ambiance. We thoroughly enjoyed breakfast in the restaurant, where our waiter was exceptionally attentive and friendly. The food and service were both excellent. Upon checkout, the managers greeted us warmly with handshakes and kind words of appreciation, leaving us with a lasting impression of their exceptional care and professionalism. We look forward to returning! "
