The house was attractively decorated (with Christmas decor still up) and well furnished. The gas fireplace was a particularly nice feature, as the weather was cold and rainy during our stay. "If you haven't been to Highlands, NC, I highly recommend it. And I don't think you can find a better home to stay in. It's perfect for my husband and me, our two grown children and spouses, and two grandchildren (ages 2 and 5). The host was extremely responsive. This home is nicer than my own and has every kitchen item you need to cook meals. It is super close to the downtown and beautiful waterfalls."

"Great stay! Plenty of room for our group of 10. Close to town, well appointed, great outdoor space. My only thing would be the condition of the pans. Most were non stick and were horribly scratched. Having experienced this at multiple rentals over the years I bring one of my own when we rent. This doesn’t bother everyone and that’s great! Just mentioning it if it does.
