"Really great spa and pool, room, and food. Some important details: no spa admission after 8 pm, it reopens at 10 in the morning. Restaurant kitchen closes after 8 pm too, but they still serve drinks and charcuterie. Some staff spoke English and it was helpful because the receptionist did not. Also the credit card machine at the reception wouldn't process Hotels.com charges in dollars (but the restaurant's card reader can do it)"

"This hotel is located on the edge of the forest and we were awakened every morning by the delightful sound of songbirds. The room had a balcony which was a nice place to relax.. The restaurant is good and the breakfast buffet offered an assortment of cheeses, meats and breads. "Good hotel with amazingly clean rooms. Room was big and recently renovated, lots of space and nice touches like tea and coffee in the room. Big windows let in loads of natural light, and opening windows allowed fresh air which was nice. The location allows for easy access and parking, and then it's a very short walk to the centre of the historic town. Friendly team and good breakfast. As some other people commented, no, they don't speak English - but it turns out the hotel is in Germany, so don't expect it and you'll be fine. The staff were all very friendly and helpful, and a smile, a few signs and a bit of patience got me checked in very quickly. Great value, would definitely stay again. "
