The Tiskilwa Inn
3.0 star property
10.0 out of 10, Exceptional, (2)
"The Tiskilwa Inn is nicely restored mansion originally built in 1848. It has 5 guest rooms, all recently refurbished in the finest style. Our first night we were the only guests so it felt like our own private stately home. I want to go back so I can stay in each of the other four rooms."

"Very comfortable in an amazing area. Very close to multiple Parks and trails. The tub was a great way to relax and the bed very comfortable. Martin is the best host that I've had a pleasure of dealing with and I travel a lot if that tells you anything. He's very accessible and seems to truly care that you have a perfect stay. I can't wait to bring the rest of the family!"

"First, let me say this is not a cabin. The listing was a bit misleading if you are expecting a cabin, this is a townhome. That being said, it was lovely! Overall clean and well kept. The only thing we didn't use was the whirlpool tub as it didn't look clean. If you plan to do any cooking, the supplies are pretty basic (no baking sheets) but for stovetop cooking we were all set. None of that is said to dissuade people just to be informative. We would DEFINITELY stay here again!"
