"We had a fabulous time. You would never know there was a town 2 miles from the house. It was very peaceful and welcoming. The cottage was very clean and had no issues what so ever. We were able to choose from quite a few events going on in the area and enjoy the fall foliage. "

"When we arrived at the property, it was exactly as described in the listing and even a little larger than we expected. The setting was beautiful and so peaceful! I loved watching the water from my seat around the fire and listening to all of the woodland creatures going about their day. Only real issue was the listing offered a private boat launch and the key happened to be lost in the mail so our boat launch was unavailable to use which forced our group to use the extremely busy public boat launch 18 minutes away. The host did refund $100 to my account for inconvenience. I feel this was an avoidable problem because we booked months in advance and had conversations with the host about...

"This dog friendly 2BR cottage is right on crystal clear Tripp Lake, with a large screened in porch/family room. It is small but very well appointed and maintained. The weekend we were there it was very quiet, and we had the beach to ourselves. Enjoyed kayaking, hiking nearby, and hearing the loons daily. Owners and manager were very thoughtful and responsive. Highly recommend!"

"This property is beautiful - beautiful sunsets and changing lake views. We enjoyed walking around the roads. Cottage had everything we needed. Good, close grocery locations. Discovered “A Small Town Bakery” with gluten-free options in nearby Wayne. Plenty of towels, sheets and blankets for our stay, as well as games, movies and children’s toys. "We have been renting on Long Lake for many years and were so happy that we found this cottage for our family this year. The cottage was better than advertised. All of the accommodations you could possibly need. The location on the lake is also amazing! We spent endless hours on the great dock and using the swim raft. The sunsets across the lake were also incredible! We hope to return again next year!"

"The property and the managers were great. It was very relaxing but the furniture and especially the beds could be updated. They were very old and not very comfortable. Not sure I would book again. The kids loved the canoes and the view was great."
