I really wanted to like this place - good locations in Healdsburg, cute cottage. Would have been perfect if it wasn't up to 105 in Healdsburg while we were there. We arrived and were very happy with the house, however, when we got there, it was hot so we tried to turn on the AC, but there was no AC. We called management and they stated that it never got hot enough for AC, that we could open the windows at night (temp improved around 10 pm) and we could try to portable AC unit. The house got hotter and hotter and I had our 2 month old baby who started to sweat and cry hysterically from the heat. I tried setting up the AC, which read the inside it was 88 degrees. The AC unit did nothing for the heat and my infant started to sweat. As a physician, I was all to aware this was an unsafe situation for my infant. Therefore, my husband and I had to leave for the safety of my baby. I tried explaining this to Monique, but she stated the house couldn't have been that hot and that if I had set up the AC unit, it would have been fine. I let her know that I did set up the AC and it didn't help. They refused to give me any money back. I know they have a no refund policy, but given the unsafe, unsuitable living circumstances, I do think we should have been refunded - it was not OUR choice to leave, it was there lack of safe living situation - my baby would have ended up in the hospital. Of note as well, there were no screens on the window and the window in the bedroom didn't even open (as noted by a sign on the window). I am very disappointed with the managements handling of this circumstance and would not trust them to stay at this place. Plus, if it's hot, it is totally unlivable. Would recommend finding another place!
