"The house was great. Views were breathtaking. Saw multiple deer around house/property. Our teens enjoyed the firepit, smores, and watching football downstairs. Furniture was comfortable but well-broken in, so you sink in a bit. Beds/bedrooms were comfortable. Sunrises/sunsets were amazing. Had a small issue when fireplace stopped working, but they were very responsive and were at the cabin first thing next morning. We chose this cabin because it was handicap accessible. "I booked a last minute weekend getaway to Highlands for my family (2 adults and our 6 month old). I must say this is one of the neatest places we have rented. It reminded me a Swiss Chalet but the local artist paintings also gave it southern charm. I loved how all of the art on the walls was for sale. Such a cool idea!
