"From the moment we stepped onto the houseboat, we knew we were in for a treat! Our stay was nothing short of extraordinary, and I can't recommend this experience highly enough. The houseboat itself was immaculate and beautifully decorated. The kitchen was fully equipped and the cosy living areas and bedrooms. "Excellent customer service, especially from the lovely hotel manager who helped us park our car and gave a lot of information about Hamburg. He was very nice to all of our family - including our 2 teenagers. We were there for the Christmas Markets and the location was perfect. Great coffee shop on the corner close by is recommended for breakfast. Room was great and had everything we needed. It was clean and quiet. Close to shops, sights and I would definitely stay again. "

"We loved the Houseboat!! Loved that it was a central hub for friends/family to gather and enjoy when we wanted respite from the go-go-go that Hamburg is! A quick ten minute walk to the train allowed us not to have to rent a vehicle, helped get our steps in and was easy to navigate throughout the various hubs of the City! A perfect rental. We will absolutely be back!! "

"Everythinh is good, when you get up you can see horses. Clean house, best utentils. 25minutes from Hamburg but 30 minutes to Lübeck. If you want to work from the house wifi quality is not good, but if you want to stay with good holiday I prefer the place. Nearest market 7 minutes from the house (Edeka). "The appartments were actually called the "Makro Appartments". They were fairly new, in great condition, comfortable and very clean. Train station right next door which was very convenient but still quiet (triple glazed windows). I'd definitely stay here again - perfect for travelling with children."

"We really enjoyed our stay at this beautifully decorated houseboat. It would have been easier to have a car. Taking an Uber to down was a pain and very expensive and public transport is not very convenient from this part of city. Overall, a great experience and very peaceful location."

"Firstly, the location was perfect for us. We landed at Hamburg and one direct train took us to within 2 minute walk to the front door. It is close to the alt stadt and harbour area, which we frequented, but it is actually quite central to a lot of stuff. The hotel was very nice. Check in was a breeze and the room was a good size with everything that we needed. The only negative, it was quite a warm room, but hindsight, i think there was some temperature control we could have played around...

Super comfy beds

"The room was beautiful and cosy. My husbands lived in Hamburg in the past and he really loved the view of the Speicherstadt from our room. The super comfy beds were a treat too. Only downsides are it’s a bit further from the town centre and ubahn which we knew at the time of booking so we walked to most places. We arrived on the weekend with a car and there was not really a convenient drop off location. Parking nearby was quite expensive. I would’ve liked a kettle or coffee machine that dispensed hot water too but that doesn’t seem to be common in hotel rooms in Germany from what I’ve noticed. "
