The house is in a good position back from the lake but very accessible. It has adequate space with a well appointed kitchen in a sunny position. Its a great little neighbourhood.

Best alternative to a hotel in Taupo
Seems close to SH1 on the map but you almost don’t hear it. Somewhat old style (a.k.a. not a fancy McMansion), but very cosy - also on a rainy day. Well equipped kitchen. Could easily host 6 people. Would definitely book it again.

Nice location but needs a refresh
Great location and the kids enjoyed being so close to the lake. The downstairs area is nice and light but bedrooms and bathrooms upstairs are very aged and need a refresh. Would have also loved some electric heating in the lounge as we didn't want to have to deal with cleaning out and resetting the fire.
