Located in the heart of Noosa Heads, this beachside street is a chic enclave of cosmopolitan cafés, resort-style accommodation and designer shopping.

Day or night, find exciting events, shopping and dining along Noosa’s Hastings Street, a central hub in one of the Sunshine Coast’s most popular destinations. Wander along the pedestrian-friendly street that is lined with an eclectic array of boutique shops, luxury accommodation and diverse restaurants. Hastings Street is very close to the white sand and crystal-clear water of Noosa Beach.

Stroll along Hastings Street after your morning swim and find a seat in the outdoor dining area of a café. Sit and enjoy your breakfast under leafy trees or in the sunshine as you watch Noosa come to life. As Hastings Street lies directly behind Noosa’s famous Main Beach, you have the perfect excuse to purchase new swimwear or designer sunglasses from one of the many fashion boutiques.

Join locals for a drink at the Noosa Heads Surf Club or indulge in a locally made ice cream from one of the parlors along the street. Sip wine or an espresso at an open-air café or browse local galleries selling artworks and handmade designs. Noosa has strict height limitations on buildings so there are no high-rises along Hastings Street. Sit on the beach, at the park or on the tree-lined beachside promenade of Hastings Street and watch the sunset without looming shadows.

To explore the nearby natural surroundings, follow the walking path from Hastings Street along the shore through Noosa National Park, one of Queensland’s beautiful coastal national parks. Follow the well-signed trails all the way to Sunshine Beach, about a 40-minute walk away, and relax on the golden shores. Along the way, watch for dolphins and whales during their annual migration between May and November.

Hastings Street is in Noosa, a 2-hour drive north of Brisbane or a 30-minute drive from Sunshine Coast Airport. The warm weather in this part of Queensland means that you can visit throughout much of the year and sunbathe or swim.
