This property is well-maintained, comfortable, homey, and an attempt has been made to retain the semblance of the time period in which it was built. The innkeeper is hospitable and a joy to interact with. We stayed on the 3rd floor, Shenandoah Room with our 2 children. We were pleasantly surprised there is a common area on that floor that is a shared space, but we were the only ones using it. It featured several chairs, a loveseat and toys and games for the kids. We were offered crafting items as well, and the kids were happily entertained in the evening hours with these amenities. There is wifi, but no television. The location of this Inn is close to shopping, dining, coffee shops, and all the historic downtown buildings, the Fort, the river and trails. Would definitely stay here again.
