Dear reader, let me put your fears to rest: book the dang cabin!!! I went here on my first solo vacation and could not have had a better time. The pictures do not do it justice. I spent five nights scaring myself senseless by reading Edgar Allen Poe in the loft and it was delightful. The heater worked like a dream, the hot water stayed hot, the full kitchen allowed me to drink my bodyweight in soup and the place felt like home. The property manager even came by before I arrived to put the lights and the heat on. So nice! She was quick to answer questions and the place was so thoughtfully arranged. Ignore that two star review complaining about spiderwebs. It's a freakin cabin. If you don't like nature, stay in a Marriott. I'm not getting paid to write this, I genuinely had a great time. "

"It was a lovely old victorian home and I was grateful for no highly scented fabreeze type scent and the beautiful cotton sheets and down pillows. Breakfast was served and it was my bad not to mention that I am a vegetarian: won't happen again. And yes I would stay again if I ever make it to DF again."
