"If you’re looking for the perfect blend of charm, comfort, and thoughtful detail—this lake house is it! My husband and I stayed with two other couples, and from the moment we walked in, we were smitten. The house is absolutely adorable—every inch screams cozy lake vibes done right.They thought of everything: outdoor and indoor games for when you're feeling competitive, map pencils, coloring and puzzles for when you're feeling curious and creative and a kitchen so stocked you’d think Grandma was coming over with her casserole. Even the front steps have a well-placed rail—because let’s face it, sometimes you’re just tired, or in our case, have a few too many artificial joints to take chances!The bedrooms were equally charming—decorated just as a lake house should be. Truly restful, Pinterest-worthy little havens. The only thing we’d add? A stool for us vertically challenged or bionic folks to hop up onto those dreamy beds without needing a running start.We had the best time—so relaxing, full of laughter, and already talking about when we can come back. It’s a gem of a getaway, and we’re hooked!And here’s what really got us—on our last night, a big storm rolled through, and the host texted us just to make sure we were safe. Seriously, how kind is that? It’s those little things that turn a great stay into a memorable one.Bottom line: it was relaxing, it was full of laughter, and it felt like a true retreat. 10/10 recommend—and yes, we’re already planning our next visit. "Our family booked a tour at Fossil Rim for Sat and it was a quick 35min trip to Glen Rose. We spent Friday night & Sunday in Grandbury. The house was perfectly located to both cities & provided great hang out space. The teens & kiddos upstairs & the adults dowdownstairs - PERFECTION!"
