Little gem
Nice clean hotel right in the middle of it all. 5 minute walk to the walking street. Just around the corner from the lively Beer Street but far enough away not to be disturbed. Staff very friendly and helpfull and free breakfast had enough choice to keep us all happy. Balcony more of a standing area than a sit and relax area and looked directly into the room across the way but we didnt use it anyway.

Nice property, but no frills
I think this is a good example, of you get what you pay for. For the price, this is a good value, but based on the reviews being so high, we were surprised. We had a nice room, with a balcony. the room was clean, but very small. Most of the staff was very young, and very sweet, but didn't speak english. It was walkable to the touristy area, but there really weren't any restaurants very close by that we felt comfortable eating at. If you are looking for a no frills budget property, it is great for that, but when we returned to Hanoi and paid just a little more the increase in location and value was well worth it.

Cheap, but not a good decision for us. Check in was cursory, we asked to pay for breakfast and arranged a time and the kitchen was not open when we arrived, so had to scramble in the district to get breakfast before our tour.. we paid in advance via Expedia and had to argue at check out not to be double billed. Beds were hard. Room wasn’t very clean. Yeah, we had two more bookings here for our trip that we’ve canceled and upgraded to another hotel close by.

L'hotel est très bien situé dans le Vieux Quartier, ce qui permet de visiter la ville à pied. Le personnel est accueillant et disponible, ils nous ont aidé à reserver une croisière dans la Baie d'Along qui s'est très bien passée.

I loved this property and would happily return again. The receptionist Annie was delightful from the time I arrived when she sat me down with free drink and fruit to explain Hanoi and give recommendations to her assistance with various things throughout my stay. I was so happy with all the other staff too who work very hard and long hours to give such fantastic service and always with a smile. I felt appreciated as a guest and this was shown when I returned from a tour to find my room had been upgraded for free. The room itself was perfect, although be aware the basic (superior?) room has no windows to the outside world this didn't bother me and the location is perfect. Free breakfast included which was delicious and made to order. 100/100 thank you all for a lovely stay

Wow! The staff is amazing! The place is in a good location! The staff will sit with you and give you personal attention to help you make you plans and your stay memorable! One day we got back really late and we were too tired to leave the hotel to get food so it was Anne to the rescue !!! She ordered us some food and also made us a fruit plate! Thank you for a memorable stay!!!

The room was clean and had everything we needed the staff are so helpful with where to go and places to get things I would recommend this hotel to anyone visiting Hanoi . The restaurant attached to the hotel is fantastic with great staff and some of the best food in Vietnam

Attentive staff , the hotel is small enough to provide guests with personal service. Great breakfast. Bed comfortable, decent bathroom. Quiet location in a side street with not too much traffic. Staff super helpful with planning first visit to Vietnam before arrival - they do offer good prices on daytrips and excursions

A very nice hotel, well situated in the Old Quarter. The staff are friendly, helpful and attentive. Assisted me with trips and onward travel. My single room was spacious with a comfortable double bed, clean, quiet, hot shower and good WiFi. The breakfast was very good and starts early. I returned for a further stay after a trip to Halong Bay and will definitely recommend this hotel.

Great location in the old quarter. Very helpful staff! Delicious breakfast with many made-to-order choices. Street noise at night will be a problem for light sleepers. All in all, a fine place to stay.
