"The royal palace hotel is in a quieter area where you can hear yourself think and surrounded by amazing restaurants and cafes. The rooms are spacious and clean with comfortable beds. We were lucky enough to have the deluxe family room which has a huge balcony overlooking the city. Jim is an exceptional manager. Always friendly and helpful. "Staff at the hotel went above and beyond to ensure we were happy with our stay. The breakfast was wonderful and there was so much variety of food to choose from. I would highly recommend the spa treatments as well as just chilling by the pool. At night you could see the train coming to the train street. Both restaurants are exceptional and Sky Bar has one of the best views of Hanoi. I would highly recommend staying at Peridot Grand Luxury Boutique Hotel. "

"The service is impeccable. The soft touches such as made to order menu in addition to the buffet breakfast is great. Also they sent us free snacks and fruits after our long day at Ha Long Bay is so thoughtful. Everyone in the hotel are so friendly. We had a room with a balcony and the windows are double glazed so no noise from the street. The size of the room is a bit tight but adequate for 2 people."
