Cozy Cabin Getaway

Very cozy and private cabin. The bathroom has amenities that make it feel like a little spa. Outside deck space and fire pit is nice. Lots of different spaces and rooms. It's about 20-30 min to Acadia depending on the traffic. I would recommend this place to anyone, except for someone who has difficulty using stairs. We would go back.

Property is in the perfect location to visit both sides of the park. Only downfall is very narrow spiral stair case if you have to get luggage to the loft and they should hang the tv on the wall and get rid of large piece of furniture to be able to put a stand to put luggage on in the master bedroom. Other than that a perfect place!!

Quirky, cool treehouse that’s convenient to Acadia and Bar Harbor. Nice amenities like a sauna and whirlpool tub. Beds were very comfortable, and the basic amenities were fully stocked. It was a fun stay!

The wife and I found a great way to escape Florida's summer heat - Maine tree-house! The owners could NOT have been more kind or attentive. They made sure our stay was peaceful and relaxing. Perfect jumping off spot for Bar Harbor and Acadia. Loved our stay.

Love the Treehouse

We had a great stay at the Treehouse. The location is great and quiet. The house has all of the comforts, including beautiful furnishings, a cozy fireplace, clean and easy to use sauna, and a fully equipped kitchen. Angie and Haze communicated clearly and the description and instructions were accurate. This is a perfect place to unwind.

A few nights stay

Adorable place, easy to find, 20 minutes about from Acadia National Park. We like to cook, so was limited because there was not an oven to use. There was like a countertop toaster type oven, but no pans to put in it . Assumed there was a washer and dryer there and there was not. Had some fun features, like sauna, outdoor shower fireplace, which made it cozier. Did not realize it was by some type of lumberyard which made it noisy during the day, but we were out at the park hiking so that really didn’t bother us too much. It was very quiet at night… This is a great place to stay for a night or two but longer than that would’ve been difficult.

A cozy and aesthetic getaway

This was a beautiful and quiet place to stay! The home itself was gorgeous and cozy inside and out. The beds were very comfortable, and the fireplace kept us warm on the chilly mornings. The outdoor shower was a fun feature too! It stormed during our last night with some 50+ mph winds and the house shifted and some trees did bang on the roof. Contacted the host and they were very quick to respond and explain that everything was normal and safe, putting us at ease. Overall a very pleasant time!

Private and Magical

This tree house property is phenomenal. Privacy is important to us, and we had it here. The house is exceptionally well-kept, up to date, and comfortable. We fit comfortable with our very tall family and had a great time. We will absolutely be back. If you like to ride atvs on the Downeast Trail, this is your place. The nearby town has quaint shops and great restaurants. We loved it!

Wonderful Treehouse Near Acadia!

We had a great time staying at the Treehouse. The owners were nearby working on another Treehouse and were very friendly and fast responding. The property is exactly as listed. The coffee bar is a nice touch and we enjoyed all the spaces! You are a quick walk across the street from a great running/riding/ATV/Snowmobile path (wear bug spray on it)! The staircase is narrow but manageable. We were there during a rainstorm and the house swayed a bit exactly like you’d expect a treehouse too. Perfect experience! Acadia was a 30 min easy drive and the town of Ellsworth is minutes away with everything you’d need! Loved it. Highly recommend

Cool but needs some TLC

The treehouse is a pretty neat place to stay. It is quiet for the most part and a good distance to bar harbor. Right away there were a few issues. The spiral staircase is tiny. Very difficult to get up and down for adults and especially luggage. Also cleaning crew has clearly not dusted for a very long time. Shower door in main bath was broken and sauna was dirty. Overall is was a unique experience.

Very communicative owners. There is a pride in ownership there, as the property is very unique. Yet, they may not be aware that the property needs a deep cleaning, in our opinion. Light fixtures, windows & sills, wall art, dog nose prints on porch glass door along with peeling paint, dog hair on porch cushions that we shook off, debris collected along tub glass, bath fan dirty. No remote for the air conditioner the first two nights, but they picked up one for the third night. Smith's from Minnesota

Graduation weekend

We were looking for a different place to stay and the tree house was different. The down sides were that we never got the check-in code. The communication was not great with the host. We did reach out about the climate control in the unit. The firs night was very uncomfortable and hot in the loft. Attempted to get this fixed with host and after communicating with the host in the morning about needing a method to cool the unit, never heard back from the host again! We ended up turning off the heat for our second night which made it comfortable for the loft but very cool on the first floor.

Great Base During Changeable Weather Week

We stayed here as a jumping off point to visit Acadia in the off season. Minutes away from anything you need in Elsworth as well as some good restaurants there. We visited the Schoodic Point and Bar Harbor adjacent sections of the park and the drive was about 40 minutes for both. On our final day, it rained all day and we stayed at the house which was great because it's super comfortable. We especially liked the whirlpool tub and the fireplace that heats both the main room and one of the porches accessed from the balcony. We stayed in the loft rather than the main bedroom because we liked the view. It's accessed via a tight, narrow spiral staircase. Getting suitcases or large bags up there would be a challenge. Includes its own half bath. One minor note is that the access is a little confusing. You drive in on a dirt driveway and through a parking lot/clearing past some sort of light-industrial looking building. The house is a short distance beyond. It does feel private once you're in. Hosts were communicative in advance about check in and also when we reached out with a question while there. When a minor technical issue needed fixing, they were responsive and fixed it. Overall, we enjoyed our stay and really liked the house. We'd stay here again.

Perfect Christmas Escape from Chaos!

We had a cozy Christmas getaway with my children. The treehouse was perfectly designed and had all we needed to settle into a couples of nights of family memories. Games, laughter and great food was shared.
