"The property is almost 100 years old with lots of history. It has been recently renovated and done well. It is right on the lake with lots of outdoor sitting and a pier. The staff are all very friendly and you can tell they enjoy working there. The restaurant was nice with delicious food. The reason for not giving 5 stars all across is because the renovation was done to restore to the original so the rooms are small and the bed was not overly comfortable. "The hotel is about what you'd expect of a comfort inn and suites. It looks like the hotel has been updated in the past 5 years or so, but to a comfort inn standard. The bathtub could have used a bit more of a clean, but otherwise the room was fine. Walls are paper thin so expect to hear your neighbours and people walking up the hallway. Continental breakfast was excellent. "
