"I can not more highly recommend Shirouma So! The staff were very accommodating and friendly. The hotel was very comfortable and perfectly situated near the bus terminal, Happo One, and restaurants. The onsen was the perfect way to finish a day on the slopes. The food was excellent and there was plenty of variety - while breakfast is set, it is different every day. I would definitely stay here again!"

"We enjoyed our stay here and was pleasantly surprised with how accommodating our host was. We were nervous after reading some reviews complaining about how the host was unhelpful or the property was lacking but our accommodation had everything we needed and was nice and warm. "The room was smelly and very old dormitory style, no towel change, breakfast times changed daily and WIFI was non existent in room, I left a whole week earlier than scheduled and was disgusted at the price, I was in such a hurry to get out that I left my brand new ray bans in the room (I have never owned such expensive glasses) I also nearly fell down the stairs , photos attached "
