"The Fujiya is an impressive and beautiful historic hotel. We stayed with our 5 month old baby in the Forest wing. The room itself was spacious and the decor in keeping with the Classical design of the hotel. I particularly enjoyed the onsen and the western breakfast (best breakfast of our trip). Would thoroughly recommend a stay here due to its history and grandeur!"

"It was our first time coming to Hakone and staying at the hotel with a private onsen in a room. Staff were nice and polite. Both dinner and breakfast were excellent. "The property was in a good location and has plenty of space. Our family of 4 stayed in villa b and loved the unique floor plan- almost 3 floors with narrow staircase and loft steps. There was a view of lake ashi. The unit supplied necessary items and we could cook if we wanted to. The washer/dryer combo didn’t dry too well though. "
